Mission Spotlight: Cuba Ezell and SBC Leaders encouraged by Baptists’ perseverance
Pastor David and his wife, Sharla Jones, are currently serving at Lake City Baptist Church in north Seattle. They came to the Northwest 30 years ago with a desire to serve in small churches. Pastor Dave started a church from a Bible study in Arlington, and served as pastor in Marysville, before being called to serve in the Lake City area of Seattle. Dave and Sharla have been married over 30 years and are blessed with six wonderful children, ages 23 to 8. Five of their children are still living at home.
Pastor Dave has a heart for reaching people with the good news of Jesus. He loves to teach the Bible and encourage others to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. His purpose is to help believers fall more deeply in love with their Lord.
